Coca-Cola’s superbowl advt for 2010 seems more like a ripoff from an Isreali Milk brand. The music, acting & the way ad is portrayed looks same. Except for a Dog which is found in the Isreali advt, both ads look similar. In the coke advt, a yound man sleepwalks miles before quenching his thrist with a coke. But the interesting fact is using the same music for both the advt.

Both Coca-Cola & Pepsi known for their cut throat competition have been aligining their new strategies along the Digital marketing & social responsibility way. Coke is out with the Open happiness theme, the ads of which are already in the air. It has also created the vision 2020 which focusses on coke moving more into the digital marketing & also building communities. Pepsi recently announced that they are pulling out of the Super bowl & will focus more on digital marketing. They have launched Pepsi Refresh project which encourages new ideas & also awards it. This signals how corporate giants are aliging their strategies more into digital marketing & social media.
